When you drop religion and see the world with the eye of the Spirit, the Self, you will find the nondualistic truth which frees humanity from the religious propagated myth.+

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the political rulers as useful.

Religion has to be bifurcated from Spirituality. When you drop religion and see the world with the eye of the Spirit, the Self, you will find the nondualistic truth which frees humanity from the religious propagated myth.
Religion belongs to the world of emotions. That is why everyone likes it.
You will always find it in primitive times, as now, linked with music, dancing, and art-both emotional expressions.
Religion changes as it appeals to different emotions. You will find at one pole the nude monk is admired; at the other, the gorgeously-dressed Guru is revered.

The inherited Religion and its blind faith or blind belief-oriented Gods have become the cause of concern.

Unless all the religions are barred by the United Nations by exposing the falsity of the religion, it is impossible to find world peace and universal brotherhood. Religion has to be replaced by pure spirituality.

Unless we educate people of the world about what God suppose to be in truth, which is universal, wars, violence, and terrorism will not stop.

It is necessary to propagate the truth of God and falsity of the religion in war footing to free humanity from the religion which divides humanity and has become the cause of the bloodbath of the innocent people.

The money which is spent on wars to curb terrorism in the name of God and religion the same money can be utilized for the welfare of humankind.

Millions of people all over the world have been killed and being killed in the name of religion and God. This is because people are not aware of the ultimate truth of their true existence. People take their inherited beliefs as the ultimate truth without verifying the validity of their beliefs.

Religion is meant for the ignorant populace to give samskara (conditioning) to be, to behave, to live in a certain way with love and harmony within the society.

All these outdated samskara or conditioning are not suited for the modern generation who are capable of realizing the truth, which is beyond form, time, and space.

Spirituality is most suited for modern society to discard religion, which is the cause of the terrorism wars and violence in the name of religion and religious Gods.

n matters of religion, Gnanis have no quarrel with anyone because religion is different from spirituality or Adyatma.

The craving for religion, the fear that not to follow its rites and dogmas will bring punishment, the inability to give up the notion of its truth even when your reason demonstrates its fallacies and absurdities are merely forms of mild obsessions, i.e. a thought constantly repeating itself automatically; hence it is a mental disease.

Unless you give up the ideas of heaven and hell, Advaitic wisdom is impossible. The ultimate truth must be proved here and now, on this very life. If that cannot be done, then it cannot consider any such idea, as the existence of heaven and hell as untrue.

Religious people hold their inherited beliefs and any images they like in that realm.

For in religion the question of truth does not arise, only the question of what appears to one.
Religion belongs to the world of emotions. That is why everyone likes it.
You will always find it in primitive times, as now, linked with music, dancing, and art--both emotional expressions.
Religion changes as it appeals to different emotions. You will find at one pole the nude monk is admired; at the other, the gorgeously-dressed Guru is revered.

Religion is regarded as sacred and real by the common people, by the wise as false, and by the political rulers as useful.
Religion can never make you know God because it propagates the belief as God. Only an intense urge to know what God is supposed to be in truth can make you realize God in truth.

All religions survive on myths. The rationalists would be on more solid ground if they attack myths of all religions. Unfortunately, every religion is attacking the other considering them to be a myth.

The only way out is to unfold the mystery of existence. Many paths and theories and practices make one confused about which path and practice is to use because each one of them claims to get the truth. Everyone tries this and that still one is unable to unfold the mystery. The mystery of existence becomes a distant dream.

Religious truth is individual truth and it is not universal truth because religion is based on individuality.  Spiritual truth is a universal truth. There is no scope for individuality in the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman.

In the realm of ultimate truth or Brahman the form, time, and space are one in essence. The essence is formless consciousness (Soul), the ‘Self’.   Thus, consciousness alone is real and eternal and all else is mere illusion.

The scriptures give many advice and remedies and each of them claims to be infallible. It is high time for the shift his attention from all the theories and practices which are based on the physical ‘Self’ and indulge in ‘Self’-analysis and discover the facts of his own existence.

Yoga Vasishta: ~ “Teachers, interpretations of sacred texts, the force of religious merit--none of these lead to the realization of that Ultimate Truth which is revealed in the clear reflection of the heart, engendered from contact with the good."

The only way to unfold the mystery of existence is a deeper Self -search helps the seeker of the truth to discover and realize the true facts of his own existence through inquiry and reasoning without the help of religion, glorifying Gods and Gurus, scriptural studies, or yogic practice.

When the seeker becomes aware of the facts of his own existence and realizes that the sense of ‘I’ is not ‘Self’.

The sense of ‘I’ is the whole experience of the Waking state or experience of duality. The seeker realizes the fact that whatever he believed and experienced as reality on the base of a sense of ‘I’ is merely an illusion. Since the formless non-dual substance of the ‘I’ is ‘Self’.  Thus it is necessary to seek the truth. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
