Self-realization is a gradual process. The seeker progresses as he realizes the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness with full and firm conviction. The first requirement is a strong aspiration which gives rise to inquiry and reason.
It takes time for the Soul, the Self to wake up from the sleep of ignorance. It takes time for one realizes the 'Self' hidden by ignorance.
The Soul 'Self' reveals ‘what is real’ and ‘what is unreal” when the seeker is receptive and ready.
When you enthrone the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness in your subconscious then you will realize the world in which you exist is merely an illusory play of consciousness.
Slowly but surely you must imbibe the truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space by realizing the form, time and space are one in essence.
Sage Sankara clearly says:~ Neither studying philosophy nor by mastering scriptures by worship as many gods nor observe ceremonies nor by singing devotional hymns nor by uttering mantra nor by mastering the scriptures liberation comes without realizing the Oneness.
By arguing and provoking the wisdom will not dawn. The argument is useless so long as the ultimate truth is unknown, and the argument is equally useless when the ultimate truth or Brahman has already been known.
Advaitic Wisdom is not custom-made stuff to feed a different mindset according to their likes and fancy.
The un-contradictable truth is the ultimate truth or Brahman. The un-contradictable truth is beyond form, time, and space. Thus, whatever knowledge is based on form, time and space, is dualistic knowledge. The non-dualistic wisdom is nothing to with the form, time, and space. Thus, mixing dualistic knowledge and trying to understand and realize the Advaitic truth is like mixing oil and water.
When the seeker inquiries into the nature of the mind which is present as the waking state or universe, then he becomes aware of the fact that the ‘I’ is not the Self but ‘I’ is the mind. The mind is present in the form of the universe. the universe appears as the waking experience.
The waking experience consists of the universe and the person perceiving it. Thus, the mind is an experience, not the ‘Self’. The Soul is the Seer of the coming and going of the three states.
It is high time for the seekers of the truth to verify where the fault lies because of which they are unable to proceed deeper in their inquiry. What are the barricade and fetters which is holding them to realize the reality?
Remember:~
The seeker has to think deeply instead of passing the opinion on his own point of view and he has to drop the judgmental attitude, which blocks the realization of the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space.
The fault lies is in the seeking base itself’. When the seeker becomes aware of the fact that ‘I’ is not the ‘Self’, then it is erroneous to seek the truth on the base of ‘I’ as the ‘Self’. The ‘I’ is the whole experience of the Waking state.
The person and the world both are within the waking experience. Therefore, the formless witness or knower of the waking state is not the sense of ‘I’ but the substance of the sense of ‘I’.
Thus, the formless and knower of the Waking state is formless and non-dual in nature which is the Spirit or Atman. On the Spirit or Atman, the whole universe is based.
Therefore, the truth of god’s existence is the only tool to bring peace to the world not nuclear or smart weapons. Therefore, it is necessary to seek the truth of one’s own existence to realize the whole human experience is merely an illusion.
If one is seeking truth one has to drop all religious-based dogmas and
blind beliefs ritualistic baggage and move forward in their pursuit of
truth. : ~ Santthosh
