Sage Sankara is the foremost among the great sages of truth, that Mother India has produced. Sage Sankara was the expounder of the Advaitic wisdom.

Sage Sankara was a giant metaphysician, a practical philosopher, an infallible logician, a dynamic personality, and a stupendous moral and spiritual force. 

Sage Sankara's grasping and elucidating powers knew no bounds.  Sage Sankara was a  Bramha Gnani . Sage Sankara was a sage of universal order. 

Sage Sankara is a rationalist thinker, in contrast to the more traditional image of him as a theologian. 

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is not a philosopher dish cooked to suit exclusively the palate of the religion. It is like the air and the water, the common food for the whole of humanity. 

It is the "Science of Truth," if rightly interpreted Sage Sankara’s wisdom as food for the whole of humanity, the universal wisdom par excellence. It has nothing to do with religion and yoga philosophy, but it is the Science of Truth. It is as wide and deep as the ocean which contains virtually all the water of the world and in which all particular forms ultimately dissolve.

The Advaitic teachings that are being followed by people are not the real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara. Many Advaitic Gurus of the East and West have altered his words, added their own teachings based on imagination, and spoiled them.

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara has been lost because orthodoxy projected him as the founder of their sect. All the Gurus of the past and present misinterpret and falsify. 

Sage Sankara's wisdom has nothing to do with any religion or yoga. Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is the science of the Spirit (Soul or consciousness).

 Sage Sankara has unfolded the mystery of the universe and the mystery of God. 

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the mother of science because it unfolds the mystery of the universe. But nobody knows it. People do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time for it. 

Sage Sankara was the first sage Scientist who unfolded the mystery of the universe 1200 years back.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the most rational scientific and universal truth. Imparting the Advaitic wisdom to the unprepared mind sent would be ‘equivalent to giving sermons to the stone statues.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘what is the Mind?- it is impossible to get Self-realization. The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

For Sage Sankara and his Advaitic wisdom, we have a very high reverence. The loftiness, calmness,  firmness, and impartiality he deals with various questions, and his clarity of expression all make everyone revere the Sage more and more. Sage Sankara's wisdom will continue to shine as long as the sun shines.

Sage Sankara's scholarly erudition and his masterly way of exposition of intricate philosophical problems have won universal admiration. 

Sage Sankara was a genius, a profound philosopher, and a religious reformer. Even scholars from all over the world pay their homage and respect to him. Of all the ancient systems, that of Sage Sankara will be found to be the most congenial and the easiest to accept to the modern mindset. Advaitic wisdom is an ancient truth preserved as a secret by Sages Sankara.

Seekers of truth love Sage Sankara because he represents the ultimate truth, which is the essential core of Spirituality or Adyathma.

Sage Sankara is one of the most Sages who has ever existed in the world incomparable, and unique.

Before Sage Sankara, there were religions but never Spirituality or Adyathma. People are not yet spiritually mature.

With Sage Sankara, humanity enters into a mature age. All human beings have not yet entered into that, that’s true, but Sage Sankara has heralded the path; Sage Sankara has opened the doorless door to nonduality or Advaitic.

It takes time for human beings to understand the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is the deepest ever. Nobody has done the work that Sage Sankara has done, the way he has done it.

Nobody else represents the pure fragrance of his Advaitic wisdom. Sage Sankara is the profounder of Advaitic wisdom.

Sage Sankara has propounded not only religion but Spirituality or Adyathma. And this is a great radical change in the history of human consciousness.

Sage Sankara’s supreme Atman is Attriubuteless (without the Gunas), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without attributes), and Akarta (non-agent). He is above all needs and desires. 

Sage Sankara says, "This Atman is self-evident. This Atman, the Self is not established by proofs. It is not possible to deny this Atman, for it is the very essence of he who denies it. The Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge.  

Satyam-Jnanam-Anantam-Anandam are not separate attributes. They form the very essence of Atman. Atman cannot be described, because description implies distinction. Atman cannot be distinguished from any other than He.

The objective world is the world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Atman alone has a real existence. The world is only phenomenal. 

Sage Sankara was the exponent of Advaitic wisdom. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom  can be summed up in the following words:~

Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya, Jeevo Brahmaiva Na Aparah

Atman alone is real; this world is unreal; the Jiva is identical with Atman.

Sage Sankara says Just as the snake is superimposed on the rope, this world in which we exist is superimposed on Atman, the Self. If you get knowledge of the rope, the illusion of the snake will vanish. Even so, if you get knowledge of Atman, the illusion of the world in which we exist will vanish.

Sage Sankara was criticized for his views on Maya (illusion) without understanding him.

Sage Sankara said: ~

(1) Brahman (Atman) is real

(2) The universe is unreal,

 (3) Brahman is the universe.

He did not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the ‘Self’ and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self. Hence, Maya or illusion and reality are one and the same.

Realists criticize the concept of illusion without understanding it. 

Sage Sankara said:~

(1) Consciousness (Atman) is real

(2) The universe or mind is unreal

(3) Consciousness is the universe because the universe is an illusion created out of consciousness.

 One need not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the Self (Atman or consciousness) and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self (consciousness). Hence, illusion and reality are one and the same because both are one in essence. 

Realizing the essence, which is consciousness as the Self, is Self-Realization or Truth-Realization of God-Realization. Thus, Sage Sankara‘s declaration is rational truth, scientific truth, and also the ultimate truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar
