Many people quote Advaita without understanding it really in its highest aspect.+

People are stuck with the reality of the illusory universe, which they take as real because their religion has propagated the universe as reality.
The seeker must first see the universe as illusory to realize to unold the mystery of the universe.
Sage Sankara: ~ “VC~ All this universe, which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman (Consciousness), which is absolutely free from all the limitations of Maya.
You appeared along with the universe, and you will disappear along with the universe. No use to know who you are? - Instead, inquire into the nature of the universe.
Self-realization arises only when you realize the Self is not you, but the Self is the invisible Soul hidden by the illusory universe. The experience of birth and death is a reality within the illusory universe or Maya. The illusory universe is created out of consciousness.
The invisible Soul, the Self, is permanent is always there; only the transient universe appears and disappears.
There is no need to convince such mindsets. The seeker of truth accepts only the ultimate truth, nothing but the uncontradicted truth.
Advaita is the nondual nature of existence. The universe hides the Advaitic reality.
Realize the universe is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita. Consciousness is Advaita because it is second to none.
The universe in which you exist is the dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion created out of consciousness, which is Advaita.
The Advaita (nonduality) is real and eternal, the dvaita (duality) is merely an illusion.
Holding the Self as 'I' is the cause of ignorance. Realize the ‘I’ is the whole universe.
Till you identify the Self as ‘I’, the invisible Soul, the Self will remain in the cage of ignorance.
Remember:~
Many people quote Advaita without understanding it in its highest aspect. They declare themselves as Gnanis, but their knowledge is really mysticism.
Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper enquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.
A seeker of truth should not believe blindly in traditional orthodox nonduality without verifying all the facts from every angle. One has to reflect through reasoning, over and over again, without getting tired of the process. (Commentary on Vedanta-sutra).
There is no hope for those who call themselves realists because they are unwilling to make an inquiry into what is real. The true seeker of truth analyzes and inquires, not relying on first impressions, and hence, he is fit for the path of Advaitic wisdom.
They have to know that what they are saying is true. There are so many conflicting teachings by many gurus, one gets confused as to which are true. They will be unable to prove because they do not know the proper test of truth; they preach what is written in books with their own interpretation, without verifying them.
There is no hope for those who call themselves realists because they are unwilling to make an inquiry into what is real. The true seeker of truth analyzes and inquires, not relying on first impressions, and hence, he is fit for the path of Advaitic wisdom.
Why does one start by assuming that anything he knows is true? Many things he regards many things unconsciously as true because he enjoys them or is pleased or satisfied by them. But without verification, nothing has to be accepted as truth. Advaitic wisdom gives uncontradictable truth, which is the rational truth, scientific truth, and ultimate truth.
To realize the Advaitic truth is the seeker's aim, which is quite different from the opinions of dualistic egocentric schools. Advaitic truth is Soulcentric truth and uncontradictable truth. A
All the various views are mere opinions and have nothing to do with the ascertainment of the ultimate truth, which is beyond the experience of birth, life, death, and the world.
In the Advaitic path, the seeker of truth has to analyze the whole world; think consistently on it. He has to exercise his thinking faculty and inquire continually; discrimination is essential; this practice is the only way to grasp Advaitic truth.
Gnana is that knowledge, knowing which everything else becomes known. Truth can be known by its being impossible to contradict and depending entirely on what is not the Self.
The seeker of truth has to go to the very root of things. He rejects everything untrue by Soulcentric reasoning.  : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
