You, your body your worldly activities, and the world in which you exist are a reality within the dualistic illusion or Maya.

The dualistic illusion is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is present in the form of the mind. The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

The Self is not within the body, but the world in which body (you) exist is within the Soul.

The Soul which is present in the form of consciousness pervades in everything and everywhere in all three states. Thus, everything is consciousness. There is no second thing that exists other than consciousness.

Dive deep in deeper thinking reasoning. Amazingly an honest introspection will reveal that all fault lies with your thinking based on the dualistic perspective and your own perceptions and attitudes. If there is any fault it is because of the ignorance of the ‘Self' hidden by the ‘I’.

So there is a need to realize what this ‘I’ is supposed to be in actuality. Without realizing what this ‘I’ supposed to be in actuality it is very difficult to understand assimilate Advaitic wisdom.

You and your experience of birth, life, death, and world are made of single clay. That clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or atman Gnana.

You have to do your best to realize the truth, which is hidden by the illusory form, time, and space. Maybe slowly but surely you will realize the Soul alone is real and all else is an illusion.

The dream becomes unreal when waking takes place. Similarly, the waking becomes unreal when wisdom dawns. Wisdom dawns when the waking entity (you) realizes it (you are) is not the Self because the Self is birthless, deathless because it is formless timeless, and spaceless existence.

The one which is born lives and dies in this illusory world is not the Self. The Self is the formless Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. 

From the standpoint of the Soul the innermost Self, the three states are illusory. If the three states are illusory, it means the present birth; h which happens within the waking experience is bound to be an illusion. If the present birth is an illusion the past birth is bound to be an illusion.

From the standpoint of the Soul the innermost 'Self' the experience of birth, life, death, rebirth, and the world is merely an illusion. Thus, it is necessary to realize the Self is not the birth entity; therefore the previous birth is part of the illusion.

When the Soul remains in its own awareness, there is no second thing that exists other than the Soul which is present in the form of consciousness, because everything is consciousness. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
