Without longing for Truth-realization, Self-realization is an impossibility.+

The truth seeker's main Goal is Self-realization. Self-realization itself is truth realization. Truth-realization is God-realization.

The seeker must realize the truth of his true existence. Thus, Self-realization is very much necessary to unfold the mystery of the ‘I’.

As one goes deeper self-search he becomes aware of the fact that the ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’ but the ‘Self’ is I-LESS’ ~ Soul or Atman. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness.

Even Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it itself is uncaused. The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God.

The universe hides God in waking (duality) and God hides the universe in deep sleep (nonduality).

Remember:~

The ‘Self’ is not you but the Self is the Soul. Holding the Self as 'you' is a great error. The Self is not ‘I’ to say I AM THIS OR I AM THAT. Remember the ‘I’ is the whole universe.

The one which is born, lives, and dies, is not the ‘Self’. The ‘Self’ is not you, but the ‘Self’ is the Soul. The Soul is birthless and deathless because it is the ever formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

The experience of birth, life, death, and the world appears because of ignorance. The experience of birth, life, death, and the world is created out of single clay. That single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, the world in which you exist is merely an illusion. The experience of the birth, life, and death that happens within the illusory world, is bound to be an illusion.

The Soul, the ‘Self’ has no death because it is never born. The experience of birth, life, and death is a reality within the dualistic illusion.

Remember:~

Without longing for Truth-realization, Self-realization is an impossibility.

Gnani rightly distinguishes between permanent and impermanent, acquires Self-knowledge; and feels a deep yearning to be free from ignorance. The seeker has to ponder over what he has read in my posts and blogs repeatedly.

Sage Sankara says ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, in something detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Sage Sankara says the transparent truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani).

By inquiring Who is that you. Noting is gained. The inquirer himself is the ego. Without the ego, you do not exist. The Self is not you because you are the ego.

The Self is not you but the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

The seeker has to drop all his egocentric accumulated knowledge and only then he is fit to grasp Self-knowledge.: ~Santthosh Kumaar
