What is the use of saying I am not the body when the ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’.+

What is the use of saying I am not the body when the ‘Self’ is not the ‘I’ ‘or I AM’ but the Soul, the witness of the ‘I’.

If you hold the ‘Self’ as ‘I’ you will never be able to get rid of the ignorance because the ‘I’ itself is the cause of the ignorance.

It is erroneous to identify the Soul, the ‘Self’ as 'I' or 'I AM' because the Soul, the ‘Self’ is not 'I' or I AM’. The Soul, the ‘Self’ is the witness of the 'I'.

The ‘I’ is not the expression of the fullness of consciousness.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the division within consciousness.

The ‘I’ is ignorance.

The ‘I’ is the cause of experiencing the dualistic illusion as a reality.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the experience of birth death and the world.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the form, time, and space.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the universe.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the three states.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the mind.

Remember:~

Without The ‘I’ it is the fullness of consciousness.

Without The ‘I’ there is no division within consciousness.

Without the ‘I’ there is no ignorance.

Without the ‘I’ there is no dualistic illusion.

Without the ‘I’ there is no experience of birth death and the world.

Without the ‘I’ there is no form, time, and space.

Without The ‘I’ there is no universe.

Without the ‘I’ there are no three states.

The ‘I’ is the cause of the mind.

People try all kinds of paths and practices to get ‘Self-realization. Realizing the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is Self-realization. Consciousness is the cause of the world in which you exists and it itself’’ is uncaused.

Consciousness is pure, flawless, and full, beyond form, time, and space. Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Consciousness is beyond all limitations of form, time, and space. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is the next step higher than Buddhism.+

Everything is consciousness, which Sage Sankara declared 1200 years back –everything is Atman because Atman is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Goudpada says that: - The merciful Veda teaches karma and Upasana to people of lower and middling intellect, while Jnana is taught to those of higher intellect.

Buddhism has not proved the truth of Non-duality. There is no doubt Bhagavan Buddha pointed out the unreality of the world. He told people they were foolish to cling to it. But he stopped there. He came nearest to Advaita in speech but not to Advaita fully.

The distinction between Sage Sankara’s Advaita, and Vijnanavadin Buddhism is that the former is mentalism i.e. mind is the real, whereas the latter is idealism, i.e. ideas are real. Advaitins follow the former.

Buddhism did not graduate its teaching to suit people of varying grades; hence it failure to affect society in Asia.

Buddha as a constructive worker committed an error in failing to give the masses a religion, something tangible they could grasp something materialistic, if symbolic that their limited intellect could take hold of, in addition to his ethics and philosophy. Here Sage Sankara was wiser and gave religion; such as Bhakti, worship, etc.--to the ignorant masses, as well as wisdom to those of higher intellect.

Sage Sankara gave religious, ritual, or dogmatic instruction to the ignorant populace, but Advaitic wisdom only to the few who could rise to it. Hence, the interpretation of his writings by commentators is often confusing because they mix up the two viewpoints. Thus, they may assert that ritual is a means of realizing Brahman, which is absurd.

Bhagavan Buddha's teachings that all life is misery belong to the relative standpoint only. For you cannot form any idea of misery without contrasting it with its opposite, happiness. The two will always go together. Buddha taught the goal of cessation of misery, i.e. peace, but took care not to discuss the ultimate standpoint for then he would have had to go above the heads of the people and tell them that misery itself was only an idea, that peace even was an idea (for it contrasted with peacelessness). That the doctrine he gave out was a limited one, is evident because he inculcated compassion. Why should a Buddhist sage practice pity? There is no reason for it.

Advaita is the next step higher than Buddhism because it gives the missing reason, viz. unity, non-difference from others, and because it explains that it used the concept of removing the sufferings of others, of lifting them up to happiness, only as we use one thorn to pick out another, afterward throw both away. Similarly, Advaita discards both concepts of misery and happiness from the ultimate standpoint of non-duality, which is indescribable.

Buddhists say that a thing exists only for a moment, and if that thing has still got some of the substance from which it was produced, how then can they deny that its cause is continuing in the effect; hence its existence is more than a moment. Advaita is concerned with whether it is one and the same thing which has come into being or has come out of nothing.

The world is both real and unreal. It is real because it is a manifestation of consciousness, but is unreal, in the sense, that it is not absolute and eternal like consciousness itself.

People's approach is more practical, and they stuck with the reality of the world, they take it as real. That is why all the confusion. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Bhagavan Buddha has heralded the path; Bhagavam Buddha has opened the gateless gate.+

Bhagavan Buddha did not found Buddhism because Bhagavan Buddha rejected religion,
Before Bhagavan Buddha, there were religions but never pure religiousness.
The man was not yet mature. With Bhagvan Buddha, humanity enters into a mature age.
All human beings have not yet entered into that, that’s true, but Bhagavan Buddha has heralded the path; Bhagavam Buddha has opened the gateless gate.
It takes time for human beings to understand such a deep message.
Bhagavan Buddha’s message is the deepest ever. Nobody has done the work that Bhagavan Buddha has done, the way he has done it. Nobody else represents pure fragrance.
Other founders of religions, and other enlightened people, have compromised with their audience.
Bhagavan Buddha remains uncompromised, hence his purity. He does not care what you can understand, he cares only about what the truth is. And he says it without being worried whether you understand it or not. In a way this looks hard; in another way, this is great compassion.
Bhagavan Buddha rejected religion, scriptures, and the idea of God. Buddhism is a religion that has many scriptures and mythological stories.
Unless and until Bhagavan Buddha is bifurcated from Buddhism Bhagavan Buddha's wisdom will be permanently buried under Buddhism.
There is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality. People think religion is the stepping stone to Self-realization but it is not so.
Religion is based on ignorance and it keeps the seeker permanently in ignorance by hiding the truth with its mythical beliefs dogmas and superstition. According to the Vedas and Upanishads, all the religious propagated beliefs are a myth.

Whereas Spirituality is based on the Spirit, which is the cause of the world in which we exist.

Remember:

Bhagavan Buddha said: ~ “Believe nothing just because a so-called wise person said it. Believe nothing just because a belief is generally held. Believe nothing just because it is said in ancient books. Believe nothing just because it is said to be of divine origin. Believe nothing just because someone else believes it. Believe only what you yourself test and judge to be true.

Even Buddhism is mixed up with the regional culture and traditions of the local religion, wherever it exists. Thus, getting the full essence of Buddhism is very difficult.

Dalai Lama said:~ “Buddhism need not be the best religion though it is most scientific and religion and inquisitive. But Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Dali lama said that as an individual he believes in rebirth as he had come across a few cases of rebirth. Modern science, Dalai Lama hoped would unearth the mystery behind the rebirth. (In DH –dec-212009-Gulbarga).

Buddhism and its relationship with Science are like that of water and wine, one cannot say there is no water in wine, but when you drink it, it would not be the water but wine... thus Einstein’s view is water in wine because modern science does not believe in the matter but in this religion, everything is the matter only"

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ “There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

Advaita is pure spirituality. All the spiritual paths other than Advaita are inadequate and useless unless they cause us to seek the truth of our true existence. All controversies about creation, the nature of the universe, evolution, the purpose of God, etc., are useless in the Atmic path.

Bhagavan Buddha: ~ There are only two mistakes one can make along the road to truth: not going all the way... and not starting.

99% of People are more interested in finding solutions for their problems in their practical life within the practical world. The Atmic path is nothing to do with practical life within the practical world. Thus, they follow the religious path.

In the Atmic path, we have to grow from the inside out. None can teach us, and none can make us spiritual. There is no other Guru but the Soul.”

Self-knowledge or Atma Gnana or Brahma Gnana cannot be attained by one who is without strength or earnestness or without the receptiveness and courage to accept the truth and reject the untruth. If a serious seeker strives sincerely by means of inquiry, analysis, and Soulcentric reasoning, he will be able to realize it.

It is only the seeker's sincerity and earnestness in his spiritual pursuit, that the knowledge starts revealing on its own. Anyone who has humility and patience and is sincere and ready to drop their accumulated dross and receptive to accept the truth will enter nondual Self-Awareness when his conviction becomes firm.

That is why Bhagavan Buddha: ~ No one saves us but ourselves. No one can and no one may. We must walk the path. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Advaita is the truth hidden by dvaita. The dvaita is ignorance (I) and Advaita is ultimate reality (Atman).+

Advaitic wisdom is not any type of teaching. Advaita is the truth hidden by Dvaita. The Dvaita is ignorance (I) and Advaita is the ultimate reality (Atman).

If you are seeking truth then you have to tread the path alone. If you sentimentally get involved in physical Guru with the devotion that will block you from realizing the truth, which is hidden by form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says: ~ VC-162- There is no liberation for a person of mere book knowledge, howsoever well-read in the philosophy of Vedanta, so long as one does not give up the false identification with the body, sense organs, etc., which are unreal.

People dwelling in ignorance but thinking of themselves as wise and erudite, go round and round by various blind beliefs and tortuous paths and practices, like the blind led by the blind.

Sticking to religious Gurus is a religious fable with nothing to do with spirituality. Many have been deluded and fallen prey to a false sense of salvation propagated by the Gurus and yogis and only a few have been able to reach the goal safely by threading the path independently through soul-centric reasoning.

Manduka Upanishads:~a Gnani bears no external mark. Neither nudity nor the yellow robe has anything to do with him.

A Gnani cannot have the idea of renouncing the world or giving up something of the practical world because that would connote the idea of duality. Duality is merely an illusion from the ultimate standpoint. Knowing no second thing at all there remains nothing to be given up.

Sage Sankara clearly indicates in Viveka Chudamani (2) that the Knower of the Atman (A Gnani) "bears no outward mark of a holy man" (Stanza 539).

A person who realized the ultimate truth or Brahman will throw off his religious robe and all religious identity and live like a commoner. He never identifies himself as Gnani nor does he identify himself as superior to others. He only shares his knowledge with fellow seekers.

A Gnani never identifies himself as a Guru or a Yogi or someone disciple. The one who accepts himself as a Guru or someone’s disciple is not a Gnani.

Ashtavakra Samhita: ~ "The man of knowledge (Gnani), though living like an ordinary man, is contrary to him and only those like him understand his state.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

The truth-seeker seeks only truth. The inner Sage will guide you with love. Your sincerity and seriousness lead you to your inner core. Sincere and serious seekers are not excluded.

All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality. All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.

Katha Upanishads: ~ This Atman is attained by him alone whom It chooses. To such a one Atman reveals Its own form. (II -23-P-20)

All the chosen ones will get freedom from experiencing the illusion (duality) as a reality. All the seekers of truth are chosen ones.

Sage Sankara: ~ "Though I wear these robes of a Sanyasin, it is only for the sake of bread." (Select Works of Sage Sankara" also his commentary on Brihad)

Thus, the above passage proves that all those who were the sanyasin robes are wearing them for the sake of bread belong to the religion; they are nothing to do with Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana. There is no need to criticize and condemn the Gurus, yogis, and swamis because they are needed for the welfare of the ignorant masses in the dualistic world.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

~ Then why stick to Guru who is not a Gnani.

That is why Swami Vivekananda said: ~ “You have to grow from the inside out. None can teach you, and none can make you spiritual. There is no other teacher, but the Soul.”

That is why Sage Goudpada: ~ “To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?" etc, because that is the right way to discuss or teach. People must first know what they are talking about. (Manduka Karika)

A permanent view of the world as an illusion can come only after Soul-centric reasoning; such knowledge cannot change. Were the seeker who is sufficiently sharp he could grasp the unreal nature of the world by Soul-centric reasoning alone. To know the whole truth, one must know the whole universe, otherwise, he gets only a half-truth.

Renouncing the worldly life and accepting sannyasa or monkhood means the incapacity to think deeper, the impotency to inquire, and reason.

People speak of getting rid of conditioning or samskara but they themselves are unaware of the fact that the universe in which they exist is the product of the inborn samskara or conditioning. Ignorance is the cause of the inborn samskara or conditioning which is present as ‘I’ or ‘I AM’.

The real Moksha or freedom is to realize the fact that ‘I’ consciousness is mere physical awareness. Physical awareness is present in form, time, and space. Form, time, and space are present in the form of the mind.

The mind is present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as a waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (non-duality). Physical awareness is not Self-awareness. Self–awareness is when the formless Soul or consciousness remains aware of its own non-dual true nature.

The seeker will have enough material stored in his subconscious by reading repeatedly my blogs and posting all will start yielding fruits and start revealing when he starts thinking independently and very deeply.

My blogs and postings are not teaching, they are only signposts for those who are seriously seeking the truth. This is the inner process every serious seeker experiences. The inner dialogue will start and he will start getting answers from the inner core of his existence.

Every teaching has to be thoroughly verified through deeper discrimination. If the teaching is egocentric then drop it as inadequate and useless. If it is purely

Soul-centric then only accept it as the truth. If it is mixed with both then also it has to be dropped. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Unless and until Bhagavan Buddha is bifurcated from Buddhism Bhagavan Buddha's wisdom will be permanently buried under Buddhism.+

Bhagavan Buddha is not the founder of Buddhism — Buddhism is a by-product — but he is the beginner of a totally different kind of religion in the world.

Bhagavan Buddha the founder of a religionless religion. Bhagavan Buddha has propounded not a religion but religiousness. And this is a great radical change in the history of human consciousness.
Bhagavan Buddha was a Gnani, not his followers. Bhagavan Buddha’s wisdom was lost, it is because it was mixed up and messed up with other religions in Asia wherever it existed.
Buddhism has no answer to certain questions like the existence of Atama (Soul) and rebirth. Buddhists do not believe in Athma because they believe in emptiness but they are unaware of the fact that emptiness is the nature of the Atama, the Self.
Without the Atama there is no nonduality. Nonduality is the nature of the Atama.

Remember:~
Bhagavan Buddha is not the founder of Buddhism because Bhagavan Buddha rejected religion, Before Bhagavan Buddha, there were religions but never pure religiousness. The man was not yet mature. With Bhagavan Buddha, humanity enters into a mature age.

Sage Sankara wanted to establish the existence of Brahman. For this purpose, he made the Atman as the Brahman.+

When Sage Sankara says Brahman or God in truth is impersonal and attributeless then why worship God with form, names, and attributes.
When Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman or God in truth then why believe and accept anything as God other than the Atman.

Vedas say May ye never turn away from the Atman, the self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?

The word Brahman means ultimate truth or reality which cannot be indicated by any word.   Brahman can be expressed through silence because it is beyond the experience of form, time, and space. Therefore, the word Brahma clearly stands for the essence of the three states, which is consciousness only.

The final use of the pursuit of the truth is to know that the 'Self' is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Sage Sankara opposed the Buddhists only, who misunderstood Buddha and became atheists. According to Sage Sankara, meditation always means the critical analysis of the 'Self' to get salvation from worldly tensions. Due to the eccentric ego of the then atheists, Sage Sankara did not go beyond this since the atheists will not accept God beyond themselves. This limitation is not due to limited knowledge of Sage Sankara but is due to the then-existing situation of the psychology of the surrounding society.

Even Bhagavan Buddha kept silent about God because the society dealt by him consisted of Purvamimamsakas, who were strong atheists. Bhagavan Buddha told that everything, including the 'Self', is only relatively real (Sunya). This is correct because the self is a part of the universe, which is relatively real with respect to the absolute unimaginable God.  Bhagavan Buddha stopped at this point because atheists cannot realize the existence of the unimaginable God indicated through His silence.

The point of  Bhagavan Buddha is that if God is non-existent, the entire creation, including the Self is non-existent. Sage Sankara wanted to establish the existence of Brahman. For this purpose, he made the Atman as the Brahman. He brought out the identity of the Self with consciousness and made the Atman the Brahman. Since one will not negate the existence of the Self, he will accept the existence of the Brahman, which is the Atman or Soul, the Self. Both Buddha and Sage Sankara kept silent about the absolute unimaginable God. The same philosophy was dealt by them from different angles in different situations. : ~Santthosh Kumaar

If People can have a taste of Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom, they will be infinitely benefited and blessed.+

Sage Sankara is the foremost among the great sages of truth, that Mother India has produced. Sage Sankara was the expounder of the Advaitic wisdom.

Sage Sankara was a giant metaphysician, a practical philosopher, an infallible logician, a dynamic personality, and a stupendous moral and spiritual force.

Sage Sankara's grasping and elucidating powers knew no bounds.  Sage Sankara was a  Bramha Gnani . Sage Sankara was a sage of universal order.

Sage Sankara is a rationalist thinker, in contrast to the more traditional image of him as a theologian.

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is not a philosopher dish cooked to suit exclusively the palate of the religion. It is like the air and the water, the common food for the whole of humanity.

It is the "Science of Truth," if rightly interpreted Sage Sankara’s wisdom as food for the whole of humanity, the universal wisdom par excellence. It has nothing to do with religion and yoga philosophy, but it is the Science of Truth. It is as wide and deep as the ocean which contains virtually all the water of the world and in which all particular forms ultimately dissolve.

The Advaitic teachings that are being followed by people are not the real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara. Many Advaitic Gurus of the East and West have altered his words, added their own teachings based on imagination, and spoiled them.

Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara has been lost because orthodoxy projected him as the founder of their sect. All the Gurus of the past and present misinterpret and falsify.

Sage Sankara's wisdom has nothing to do with any religion or yoga. Sage Sankara's Advaitic wisdom is the science of the Spirit (Soul or consciousness).

Sage Sankara has unfolded the mystery of the universe and the mystery of God.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the mother of science because it unfolds the mystery of the universe. But nobody knows it. People do not want to inquire into the truth and have no time for it.

Sage Sankara was the first sage Scientist who unfolded the mystery of the universe 1200 years back.

The Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is the most rational scientific and universal truth. Imparting the Advaitic wisdom to the unprepared mind sent would be ‘equivalent to giving sermons to the stone statues.

The universe is verily consciousness. Without realizing ‘what is the Mind?- it is impossible to get Self-realization. The universe is not different from the Mind because the universe is the mind itself. The mind is not different from the Soul because the mind is the dualistic illusion created out of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

For Sage Sankara and his Advaitic wisdom, we have a very high reverence. The loftiness, calmness,  firmness, and impartiality he deals with various questions, and his clarity of expression all make everyone revere the Sage more and more. Sage Sankara's wisdom will continue to shine as long as the sun shines.

Sage Sankara's scholarly erudition and his masterly way of exposition of intricate philosophical problems have won universal admiration.

Sage Sankara was a genius, a profound philosopher, and a religious reformer. Even scholars from all over the world pay their homage and respect to him. Of all the ancient systems, that of Sage Sankara will be found to be the most congenial and the easiest to accept to the modern mindset. Advaitic wisdom is an ancient truth preserved as a secret by Sages Sankara.

Seekers of truth love Sage Sankara because he represents the ultimate truth, which is the essential core of Spirituality or Adyathma.
Sage Sankara is one of the most Sages who has ever existed in the world incomparable, and unique.
If People can have a taste of Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom, they will be infinitely benefited and blessed.
Before Sage Sankara, there were religions but never Spirituality or Adyathma. People are not yet spiritually mature.
With Sage Sankara, humanity enters into a mature age. All human beings have not yet entered into that, that’s true, but Sage Sankara has heralded the path; Sage Sankara has opened the doorless door to nonduality or Advaitic.
It takes time for human beings to understand the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara.
Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is the deepest ever. Nobody has done the work that Sage Sankara has done, the way he has done it.
Nobody else represents the pure fragrance of his Advaitic wisdom. Sage Sankara is the profounder of Advaitic wisdom.
Sage Sankara has propounded not only religion but Spirituality or Adyathma. And this is a great radical change in the history of human consciousness.

Sage Sankara’s supreme Atman is Attriubuteless (without the Gunas), Nirakara (formless), Nirvisesha (without attributes), and Akarta (non-agent). He is above all needs and desires.

Sage Sankara says, "This Atman is self-evident. This Atman, the Self is not established by proofs. It is not possible to deny this Atman, for it is the very essence of he who denies it. The Atman is the basis of all kinds of knowledge.

Satyam-Jnanam-Anantam-Anandam are not separate attributes. They form the very essence of Atman. Atman cannot be described, because description implies distinction. Atman cannot be distinguished from any other than He.

The objective world is the world of names and forms has no independent existence. The Atman alone has a real existence. The world is only phenomenal.

Sage Sankara was the exponent of Advaitic wisdom. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom  can be summed up in the following words:~

Brahma Satyam Jagat Mithya, Jeevo Brahmaiva Na Aparah

Atman alone is real; this world is unreal; the Jiva is identical with Atman.

Sage Sankara says Just as the snake is superimposed on the rope, this world in which we exist is superimposed on Atman, the Self. If you get knowledge of the rope, the illusion of the snake will vanish. Even so, if you get knowledge of Atman, the illusion of the world in which we exist will vanish.

Sage Sankara was criticized for his views on Maya (illusion) without understanding him.
Sage Sankara said: ~
(1) Brahman (Atman) is real

(2) The universe is unreal,

 (3) Brahman is the universe.

He did not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the ‘Self’ and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self. Hence, Maya or illusion and reality are one and the same.
Realists criticize the concept of illusion without understanding it.

Sage Sankara said:~

(1) Consciousness (Atman) is real

(2) The universe or mind is unreal

(3) Consciousness is the universe because the universe is an illusion created out of consciousness.
One need not stop at the second because the third explains the other two. It signifies that the universe is real if perceived as the Self (Atman or consciousness) and unreal if perceived as apart from the Self (consciousness). Hence, illusion and reality are one and the same because both are one in essence.
Realizing the essence, which is consciousness as the Self, is Self-Realization or Truth-Realization of God-Realization. Thus, Sage Sankara‘s declaration is rational truth, scientific truth, and also the ultimate truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar
