Sage Sankara:~ the study of Upanishads alone would not lead to moksha. In matters of such as spiritual attainment, one’s own realization was the sole authority and it cannot be disputed.+

Astavakra: ~ “My child you may speak upon various scriptures or hear the sermons on the scriptures. But you cannot establish in the ‘Self’ unless you forget all. 16-1 – p 49

Sage Goudpada: ~ To establish the truth of Non-duality by sheer reasoning alone. He begins by defining "What is real?" "What is unreal?"

Sage Sankara strongly advocated the study of Upanishads and at the same time cautioned that the study of Upanishads alone would not lead to moksha. In matters of such as spiritual attainment, one’s own realization was the sole authority and it cannot be disputed.

Sage Sankara also said the study of Upanishad was neither indispensable nor a necessary prerequisite for attaining the human goal, the moksha.

Ashtavakra:~There is no wisdom whatsoever in the scriptures-just a collection of words.

I only highlighted scriptural insights that point to the ultimate reality. what is not helpful in the pursuit of truth has to be discarded.

The seeker should not bother about finding the meaning of what is written in the scriptures.

Do not indulge in arguing from your own standpoint holding your accumulated knowledge as a yardstick that is pointless.

Instead, read, reason, and reflect on the subject, which is the Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara to get rid of ignorance.

Remember:~

The dualistic knowledge of the ‘ Self ‘gathered from scriptures holy books or Gurus can never emancipate a man until its ‘Self’ is rightly investigated and applied; only direct realization of the ‘Self ‘ will reveal the truth hidden by the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “What is accepted without a proper inquiry will not lead a person to the final goal. On the contrary, such acceptance will result only in evil, something which is detrimental to our spiritual progress.

Sage Sankara regards personal realization as independent and convincing evidence.

Sage Sankara says that an individual’s experience cannot be disputed because the experience he went through was real to him; though that may not be real from the absolute point of view.

Sage Sankara makes a distinction between the absolute view and the relative view of things.

Sage Sankara pointed out; that even those who were outside the Upanishad fold were as eligible for moksha as those within the fold were. He declared that all beings are Brahman, and therefore the question of discrimination did not arise. All that one was required to do was to get rid of ignorance (Avidya or duality).

The seeker's aim is the search for the Ultimate Truth or Brahman. The search to find the non-dualistic or Advaitic truth that in actuality never was lost, only hidden.

The Upanishads are self-contradictory. Every pundit even gives conflicting interpretations of them. The final authority, therefore, is using one’s own reason. One should apply his reason to them.

The scriptures are for ignorant masses, who wholly accept the material world as it presents itself. Gnana is for those who have begun to realize that things are not what they seem.

The scriptures are of value only when dealing with persons who are incapable of understanding the truth. They have no value as authority for those who use reason.

I quote only verified citations from the scriptures. I need no scriptures but I quote them to help the seekers realize that religion, scriptures and the belief in God is nothing to do with the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

It is impossible to find and realize the truth via religion and scriptural study.

That is why Sage Sankara say:~VC-58-Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar but are no good for Liberation.

59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the “Self’.

61. For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the “Self’, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

64. Without killing one’s enemies, and possessing oneself of the splendor of the entire surrounding region, one cannot claim to be an emperor by merely saying, ‘I am an emperor’.

65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it, and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the “Self’, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

Religion is based on the birth entity whereas the Soul, the 'Self’ is birthless and deathless. Spirituality is based on the Soul (formless). Thus, there is a need to bifurcate religion from spirituality.

Remember:~

Manduka Upanishad has no assumptions whatsoever. It is an honest and bold inquiry into truth. It rises above scripture.

Manduka Upanishad:~Reality and illusion together make Brahman: nothing can be left out.

Manduka Upanishad:~ Atman is the highest Reality.

Manduka Upanishad:~Only a few will be able to understand and assimilate it.

Manduka Upanishad is not meant for all, as it is based entirely on reasoning.

Look into the nature of the universe. And you will be able to see that the universe by its very nature is illusory. The moment you understand that the universe is illusory, ignorance disappears and Self-awareness arises.

Self-awareness is the state of non-dual reality. That is the state of Advaita. People never realize non-dualistic awareness through religion and yoga.

Self-awareness arises only by mentally transcending the dualistic illusion into non-dualistic reality. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

By repeating 'I AM BRAHMAN' as a mantra, the ignorance will not vanish.+

Some Gurus say repeat ‘I AM BRAHMAN’ as a mantra and the ‘Self’ will reveal on its own but by repeating the 'I AM BRAHMAN' as a mantra, ignorance will not vanish. Without getting rid of ignorance the ‘Self’ will not reveal.

It is foolish to say ‘I AM GOD’ when the Self is not you, but the Self is the Soul. Therefore, the Soul, the Self, is God in truth.

You are not the Self because you are part and parcel of the illusory universe. The Soul is the Self and the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness is the cause of the illusory universe in which you exist.

If the universe is illusory then your existence is bound to be illusory. The consciousness which is the cause of the illusory universe is real and eternal.

Rig Veda: ~ 'Prajnanam Brahma'- Consciousness is the ultimate reality or Brahman or God in truth.

Do not accept any other God other than the Soul. The Soul is God in truth,  Nothing is real but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Nothing matters but realize  God in truth. God in truth is everywhere and in everything. Let these words be inscribed in your subconscious.

God in truth is hidden by the illusory universe. God in truth alone is real and eternal and all else is an illusion. Brahman is merely a word to indicate the ultimate truth or God in truth.  The ultimate truth itself is God in truth.

Remember:~

People say Aham Brahmasmi ~ I AM GOD, I AM BRAHMAN. But when Brahman is, how can "I" remain? Only Brahman remains, not the ‘I’.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “For one who has been bitten by the serpent of Ignorance, the only remedy is the knowledge of Brahman. Of what avail are the Vedas and (other) Scriptures, Mantras (sacred formulae), and medicines to such a one?

When Sage Sankara says: ~ “Vedas and mantras will not help you to get rid of the ignorance then why you are indulging in what is not required to acquire the ‘Self’-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Athma Gnana.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC 62. A disease does not leave off if one simply utters the name of the medicine, without taking it; (similarly) without direct realization one cannot be liberated by the mere utterance of the word Brahman.

63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the Self, how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

64. Without killing one’s enemies, and possessing oneself of the splendor of the entire surrounding region, one cannot claim to be an emperor by merely saying, ‘I am an emperor’.

65. As a treasure hidden underground requires (for its extraction) competent instruction, excavation, the removal of stones and other such things lying above it and (finally) grasping, but never comes out by being (merely) called out by name, so the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by Maya and its effects, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, followed by reflection, meditation and so forth, but not through perverted arguments.

66. Therefore, the wise should, as in the case of disease and the like, personally strive by all the means in their power to be free from the bondage of repeated births and deaths.

People refuse to accept anything other than their Gurus' words. For them, their Gurus' words are the ultimate truth. They do not accept anything other than their accepted truth. There is no need to convince such a mindset.

Such a mindset is not fit to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Athma Gnana. The seekers of truth accept only the truth nothing but the uncontradictable truth.:~Santthosh Kumaar

To know what God suppose to be in truth, we must know Self is not you but the the Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.+

To know what God suppose to be in truth is, we must know what the Self is in actuality. In deeper self-search, we become aware of the fact the universe in which we exist is created out of single stuff, which is the Soul or consciousness.

Water becomes snow in the winter and snow becomes water in summer. Similarly, consciousness(God) becomes the illusory universe in the domain of ignorance, and the illusory universe transcends into consciousness (God) when Advaitic wisdom dawns.

Due to ignorance, we identify the Soul with the body and we become egocentric. When we become aware of the fact that, the Self is not the form but the Self is formless then we become Soul-centric and realize the fact that all the three states are merely an illusion created out of consciousness. Consciousness is the ultimate truth. Consciousness is the Self.

The seekers and move ahead and reach the nondual destination through this mental (inner) journey.

Remember:~

In spirituality, the word “God” stands for the ultimate truth or Brahman. All that is needed then is to realize the fact that, that Self is not the body (you), not the mind, but the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness (Spirit).

Consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman. Brahman is God. A firm conviction about the Soul as the Self leads to nondualistic Self-awareness. Self-awareness is God-awareness.

First, realize the ‘Self’ is not you but the ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of the consciousness. Mentally hold on to the Soul and mentally reduce the world in which you exist as consciousness by realizing the world in which you exist is nothing but an illusion created out of the consciousness.

Yajurveda – chapter- 32:~ God is Supreme Spirit has no ‘Pratima’ (idol) or material shape. God cannot be seen directly by anyone. God pervades all beings and all directions.

Thus, Idolatry does not find any support from the Vedas.

Lord Krishna Says Ch ~V: ~ “Those who know the Self in truth." The last two words (tattvataha) are usually ignored by pundits, but they make all the difference between the ordinary concept of God and the truth about God.

Bible says: ~ “God is a Spirit, and they that worship God must worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4:24)”,

The Spirit is the root element of the universe. The Spirit is present in the form of the Soul, the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. From the Spirit, the universe comes into existence. In the Spirit, the universe resides. And into the Spirit, the universe is dissolved. The Spirit is the parent of all that is there is.

The worshiping blind belief-based Gods in place of real God is superstition.

Swami Vivekananda: ~ “If superstition enters, the brain is gone. Superstition is our great enemy, but bigotry is worse.

How can you worship the Absolute? That implies two ~ the worshiper and the worshiped, whereas the Absolute is nondual. One can worship his idea of the Absolute only or realize his unity with it when he can’t worship it as apart.

The Upanishads say in effect that: ~ If you believe that the ‘the Soul, the innermost Self’ is one and God (Brahman) is another you cannot understand Truth.

The religion preaches that God is one and the ways to God are many. It simply tries to lead them to darkness with its dogma and idea of many Gods, which is apart from the Self.

The universe is made of single clay. That single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The Soul is the cause of the universe and it is uncaused. The Soul is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

The Soul, the God in truth is hidden by the universe, which is present in the form of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion.

Thus, it is necessary to know what God is supposed to be in actuality. God is not belief but God is truth.

Bhagavad Gita says: ~ Brahmano hi pratisthaham ~ Brahman (God) is considered the all-pervading consciousness, which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material. (14.27).

When Bhagavad Gita says, God is considered the all-pervading consciousness which is the basis of all the animate and inanimate entities and material then nothing has to be accepted as God other than consciousness/

Even Brihadaranyaka Upanishad: ~ Brahman (God) is the form of the Athma, and it is indeed Athma itself.

Rig Veda: ~ The Atman is the cause; Atman is the support of all that exists in this universe. May ye never turn away from the Atman, the Self. May ye never accept another God in place of the Atman nor worship other than the Atman?" (10:48, 5)

If you are seeking truth then you have to discard all the belief-based Gods to realize the ‘Self’. The ‘Self’ is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Self-realization is Truth realization. Truth -realization is God-realization. God-realization is real worship.

The world in which you exist is a dualistic illusion created out of the ‘Self’ which is not ‘I’ but the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Whatever you have seen, known, believed, and experienced is within the dualistic illusion. Thus, your existence is bound to an illusion created out of the consciousness, which is real and eternal.

Like an ornament made from gold is Gold, that which is born out of consciousness is consciousness. Like gold is the permanent thing, in ornaments made of gold, similarly, the mind, which is in the form of the universe is born out of consciousness, is consciousness in its essence.

That is why Sage Sri, Sankara said:~Talk as much philosophy as you like, worship as many Gods as you please, observe ceremonies and sing devotional hymns, but liberation will never come, even after a hundred aeons, without realizing the Oneness.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

Bhagavad Gita Chapter: ~ “All those whose intelligence has been stolen by material desires, they worship many God s. (7- Verse -20)

That is why Swami Vivekananda: ~ “The masses in India cry to sixty million Gods and still die like dogs. Where are these Gods? (In San Francisco, on May 28, 1900, of swami Vivekananda/volume 1)

Kena Upanishad (6) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be apprehended by the mind, but by which, they say, the mind is apprehended-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (7) Chapter I:~ That which cannot be perceived by the eye, but by which the eye is perceived-That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (8) Chapter I: ~ “That which cannot be heard by the ear, but by which the hearing is perceived-That alone know as Brahman and not that which people here worship.

Kena Upanishad (9)- Chapter I:~ That which cannot be smelt by the breath, but by which the breath smells an object-That alone know as Brahman, and not that which people here worship.

Ishopanishad:~ "They are steeped in ignorance and sunk into the greatest depth of misery who worships the matter, instead of the All-Pervading God and those who worship things born of matter like trees, animals, man, etc. are sunk deeper in misery."

When Upanishads say they are steeped in ignorance and sunk into the greatest depth of misery who worships the matter, instead of the All-Pervading God (Atman) and those who worship things born of matter (illusion) are sunk deeper in misery then why worship God in place of the real God, which is Ataman.

The dualistic worship of personal “Gods” is only for the ignorant populace. God in truth is only Atman, the Self. In reality, there are no dualities, no differentiation. Only Atman exists.

God is hidden by the ‘I’. The ‘I’ is the dualistic illusion. You are part and parcel of the dualistic illusion. The Soul is the cause of the dualistic illusion but itself is uncaused. The dualistic illusion is present in the form of form, time, and space.

The form, time, and space are present in the form of the universe. The universe appears as waking or dream (duality) and disappears as deep sleep (nonduality).

Bhagavad Gita: ~ “You must first see the ‘I’ as illusory before you see others as illusory. ~ CH.2 v.16

Your existence is limited to the illusory form, time, and space. The form, time, and space are made of the same clay. That clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Knowledge of the single clay is Self –knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Self–knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana helps the seeker to unfold the truth (God) hidden by the ‘I’, which is the dualistic illusion.

You have to draw your attention back every time it turns worldliness (I) and fix it in the Soul the Brahman or God in truth.

Truth realization is Self-realization and Self-realization is God-realization and God-realization is real worship. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

The wise seeker never indulges in argument, he calmly thinks, reasons and reflect on the subject matter and succeeds.+

From the standpoint of the Soul, the Self, all the attributes are illusory. There are no attributes because there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. There is only consciousness without the division of form, time, and space.

Only ignorant people who see the world through their dualistic lenses get confused. Such people are not seeking the truth. They waste their time in unnecessary arguments. Arguments lead to dualistic perversity.

The true seeker never indulges in argument, he calmly thinks, reasons, and reflects on the subject matter, and succeeds.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the only reality in which everything exists, to which everything belongs, from which everything has emerged, and which is the cause of everything and which is everything.

Thus, there is a need to realize the Self is not you but the ‘Self is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The world in which we exist is nothing but consciousness.

When attributes are an illusion created out of consciousness then the consciousness alone is real. Hold on to the real and mentally drop the unreal.

When the matter is an illusion created out of the Spirit then the Spirit alone is real.

When the object is created out of the subject then the subject alone is real.

When the world in which you exist is created out of consciousness then consciousness alone is real.

Reality and unreality are created out of single stuff because unreality (the world in which we exist) is experienced as a reality we are unaware of the reality hidden by the unreality.

There is no second thing that exists other than the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. The dualistic illusion, which is present in the form of the ‘I’, hides the truth.

Stick to reality by mentally dropping the unreality.

All accumulated knowledge is mental Garbage is no use in the quest for truth. The seeker has to discard all the accumulated knowledge and start afresh.

Perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ through deeper thinking and reasoning helps to acquire Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana.

Reading and reflecting on my blogs and postings gradually, the seekers will start assimilating and realizing ‘what is the truth’ and what the untruth is.

Repeated reading of my blogs and postings makes the seeker, Soulcentric, and the inner dialogue will start and clear all the doubts and confusion.

When there are no doubts and confusion, then they have realized the truth that form, time, and space are one in essence. And that essence is consciousness.

There is no use in wasting time in questioning and arguing same time and effort have to be used to make the seeker more independent and without external spoon-feeding, he can reach the inner core, which is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

In the Atmic path discussion of the unimportant subject matter is a great hindrance. The path of truth is the path of verification. Nothing has to be accepted as truth without verification. Agreeing to disagree causes unnecessary friction.

Truth is very simple but it is very difficult to grasp because of ignorance. You have to realize the world in which you exist is created out of a single clay. And that single clay is the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness.

Thus you and your body and the world in which you exist are nothing but consciousness because they are merely an illusion created out of the consciousness. A perfect understanding of ‘what is what’ is needed.

A Gnani can point at the sky, but the seeing of the star is the seeker's own work.

It is necessary to reflect on the same truth again and again till it becomes reality. One needs to constantly reflect on the subject until he gets a firm conviction of what is what. Words are needed until one gets a firm conviction of ‘what is what’.

People need reading and hearing the words of wisdom to think reason reflect deeply and reach the ultimate end. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved.+

All the Advaitic Gurus of the East and the West are based on the dualistic perspective. Dualistic knowledge is egocentric knowledge. All egocentric Advaita or nonduality is based on imagination. All imagined Advaita is will not help to cross the domain of form, time, and space.

The egocentric knowledge keeps the Soul in the intoxication of the ‘I’. The ‘I’ hides the whole truth. The Gurus and the teachers of the nonduality of the east and west are stuck up with their own accepted truth gathered from here and there and Their egoic attitude blocks than from realizing the Advaita hidden by the Dvaita, which is present in the form of the ‘I’.

Mundaka Upanishads: ~ So-called spiritual pundits and learned are called children because a child takes whatever it thinks as truth. The question never occurs to children “Is what I have seen or thought really the truth?" (P.334 line 9)

Ashtavakra:~There is no wisdom whatsoever in the scriptures-just a collection of words.

The seeker should not bother about finding the meaning of what is written in the scriptures.

Scriptures are not needed in pursuit of truth. Even the Upanishads and the Advaitic Sages declare the same.

The ultimate truth has to be ascertained without the scriptures by realizing the Self is neither the waking entity nor the dream entity but the Self is formless Soul which is present in the form of consciousness. In the realm of truth the form, time, and space are created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness.

Realizing the single stuff as ultimate truth is Self-realization or truth realization. To realize this truth there is no need for the scriptures.

The ultimate truth has to be realized first then only it is possible to know what the scriptures are saying.

That is why Sage Sankara says: ~ VC 56. Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by good work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman is Liberation possible, and by no other means.

58. Loud speech consisting of a shower of words, the skill in expounding the Scriptures, and likewise erudition - these merely bring on a little personal enjoyment to the scholar but are no good for Liberation.

59. The study of the Scriptures is useless so long as the highest Truth is unknown, and it is equally useless when the highest Truth has already been known.

60. The Scriptures consisting of many words are a dense forest that merely causes the mind to ramble. Hence, men of wisdom should earnestly set about knowing the true nature of the Self.

Advaita is the nature of the Soul. Advaita is second to none. Advaita is universal wisdom that reveals on its own to all the serious and sincere seekers of truth.

The real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is soul-centric knowledge. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is soul-centric knowledge that destroys ignorance.

Advaita is universal. Advaita is not for sale. Do not buy Advaita from the spiritual supermarket. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self. The world in which you exist is created out of single stuff. That single stuff is consciousness. Knowledge of the single stuff is Advaitic wisdom.

Advaitic truth is very simple, but it is very difficult to realize because you have accumulated mental garbage from different sources in the name of Advaita. Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is beyond the form, time, and space.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self shines on its own awareness when wisdom dawns.

The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. Advaita is the nature of God, the Self.

The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there is. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar

Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing but the science of consciousness.+

The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there is.

Sage Sankara:~ All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms is nothing else but the Brahman (consciousness) which is absolutely free from all the limitations of form, time, and space.

Sage Sankara says: ~ Atman is Brahman. The Atman alone is real is not religious truth. Sage Sankara declared this Advaitic truth, which is the ultimate truth to the whole world, many centuries back is the rational truth, scientific truth, and the ultimate truth.

It is not possible to get consciousness within the scientific framework. It is beyond modern science. Science is dualistic wisdom based on form, time, and space. Science demands physical proof based on form, time, and space whereas consciousness is formless, timeless, and spaceless existence.

Until science sees the world in they exist with dualistic lenses it is not possible to realize the consciousness as the cause of the world.

The world in which the scientist exists, their scientific inventions are made on single clay. That single clay is consciousness. Knowledge of that single clay is the consciousness, which is hidden by form, time, and space.

The Soul is the Self. The Soul is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is ever-present. Without consciousness, the world, in which you exist ceases to exist. Consciousness is Self-evident. It is not established by extraneous proofs. It is not possible to deny consciousness because it is the very essence of the one who denies it. Consciousness is the basis of all kinds of knowledge, presuppositions, and proofs. Consciousness is everything. Thus, consciousness is the ultimate truth or Brahman.

Both modern science and religion offer hypotheses and theories but there is one vital difference--science begins with facts which it collects; religion begins with fancies. Science evolves its hypotheses from such facts, religion from fancies.

Science declares that oxygen combines with hydrogen to give water. And it also declares oxygen is protons or electrons. But in pursuit of truth, the whole physical existence (universe or mind) is considered an illusion, and science and its inventions, which are based on physical existence are limited to physical existence. The truth is within but it is beyond the physical existence. Science demands physical proof. But the physical proof is part of the illusion. Hence, science cannot go beyond physicality because the truth cannot be traced from laboratory conditions. Deeper Inquiry, analysis, and reasoning are required if one wants to push their quest deeply enough.

The modern man appears to have acquired admirable knowledge in various fields of inventions in the physical world. However, what man has acquired is limited to the physical world not beyond. the man has to admit the fact that he cannot investigate the truth of his own existence through scientific inventions because it is possible only through the deeper thinking process. Above all, acquired physical-based knowledge and power do not assure man of lasting happiness in the worldly life and peace evades him at every moment.

Sage Sankara says:~VC- 56. Neither by Yoga, nor by Sankhya, nor by work, nor by learning, but by the realization of one's identity with Brahman (consciousness) is Liberation possible, and by no other means.

Sage Sankara says Atman is Brahman and everything is Brahman is a scientific declaration not religious or yogic. Sage Sankara and Sage Goudpada are more scientific than anyone else in the world. Since the real Advaitic essence is hidden it cannot be got without the inner (mental) journey.

Sage Sankara said: ~A.A-88- When the whole universe, movable and immovable, is known to be Atman (consciousness), and thus the existence of everything else is negated, where is then any room to say that the body is Atman?

Mind and thought processes are co-related to the Quantum Field, i.e. the operation and distribution of particles at atomic and molecular levels. All these ideas are true on a physical base. The physical base is the dualistic base. The duality is not a reality from the ultimate standpoint. Therefore, whatever is based on the dualistic perspective is bound to be a falsehood.

In reality, there is no second thing that exists other than consciousness. Thus, all these theories based on the false self (ego) hold no water from the ultimate standpoint.

There is a need for facts of physical proof in scientific invention, whereas in pursuit of truth, the proof has to be grasped mentally and realized. Therefore, the truth is realized only by a few who take this mental pursuit. “Whatever facts revealed, which is uncontradictable has to be accepted as truth.

So long as you are in the realm of duality, you have to explain how or why one thing came from another; and contradictory views are expressed. But when the Advaitin shows there is no second, there is no production, and the contradictions do not arise at all when the ultimate thing is Brahman (consciousness alone.

Dualists say matter existed along with God, who took it and made it into the world like the potter with clay. But when you go deep into it, you must ask how do you know that these two things existed together and who created God? Reason gives no ultimate causation; therefore, we drop God, First Matter, etc.

Determinism in classical physics: We can measure the energy in a cause and in an effect, i.e. that a certain thing produces a particular effect. Newton said that all happenings are completely determined and with certainty. This means that man’s will is not free, and that materialism is true. The quantum theory has upset this theory of determinism and says that certainty has vanished, and probability or averages have replaced it. This weakens or demolishes the law of causality. Science can now describe only, not explain. Explanation depends on causality, on the "how." Description merely says what happens during the process.

Nobody knows nor can anybody ever know how a seed becomes a tree. We know only one antecedent fact--the planting of the seed--and one consequent fact--the growing of the tree. Hence, we know no causes, only antecedents.

Dualists saw this difficulty and said, as we can’t know let us use faith from this point onwards. Advaitic Sages has solved the difficulty.

The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is real and eternal. The world in which we exist is an illusion created out of consciousness.

Sage Sankara: ~"That which permeates all, which nothing transcends and which, like the universal space around us, fills everything completely from within and without, that Supreme non-dual Brahman — that thou art."

Sage Sankara says:~ If the cause is destroyed, the effect will no longer exist. For example, if from the effect, cotton cloth, the cause, threads, are removed, there will be no cloth, i.e., the cloth is destroyed. Similarly if in the effect, thread, the cause, cotton, is removed, there will be no thread, i.e., the thread is destroyed. (Brahmasutra Bhashya, commentary on the Brahma sutra, (9) 2.1.9)

Despite the non-difference of cause and effect, the effect has its Self in the cause but not the cause in the effect. The effect is of the nature of the cause and not the cause of the nature of the effect. Therefore the qualities of the effect cannot touch the cause because the cause and effect are present only when the duality is present. The duality is present only when there is an illusion. The illusion is there only when there is ignorance. When there is no ignorance then there is no illusion. When there is no illusion then there is no duality. When there is no duality then there is no cause and effect. When there is no cause and effect then there is nondual reality.

Sage Sankara says:~ During the time of its existence, one can easily grasp that the effect is not different from the cause. However that the cause is different from the effect is not readily understood. As to this, it is not really possible to separate cause from effect. But this is possible by imagining so. For example, the reflection of the gold ornament seen in the mirror is only the form of the ornament but is not the ornament itself as it (the reflection) has no gold in it at all. (Chandogya Upaniṣad Bhāṣya, commentary on the Chandogya Upanishad, 6.3.2)

All names and forms are real when seen with the Brahman but are false when seen independent of Brahman (Soul).

This way the seeker of truth establishes the non-difference of the effect from the cause.

Sage Sankara ~ VC~ "All this universe which through ignorance appears as of diverse forms, is nothing else but Brahman which is absolutely free from all the limitations of human thought

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is nothing but the scientific truth of the consciousness which is the cause of the universe and it is uncaused. Sage Sankara’s Advaitic wisdom is nothing but the science of consciousness. Sage Sankara was the first scientist who declared the universe is nothing but consciousness.

Sage Sankara: ~VC~ if the universe is true, let it then be perceived in the state of deep sleep also. As it is not at all perceived, it must be unreal and false like dreams.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom is a Self-examiner, to test oneself to discover how near to Gnana he has approached what progress has already been made on the path, and what still remains to be done. It sets up criteria for Self-judgement.

That is why Sage Sankara: ~ VC- 63. Without causing the objective universe to vanish and without knowing the truth of the ‘Self’ how is one to achieve Liberation by the mere utterance of the word Brahman? — It would result merely in an effort of speech.

Sage Sankara: ~ VC In the dream state, even though there is no contact with the outside world, the Soul alone projects the entire dream universe of enjoyer, enjoyment, etc. Similarly, the waking state is no different. All this world of pluralistic phenomena is an illusory projection.

Sage Sankara is the first scientist humanity has to bow with gratitude to the great Sage scientist.

Sage Sankara says: ~ “VC-63- "Without knowing and examining the external world, one can’t know Truth, as the idea that the external world exists, won't go. It can go only by an inquiry into the nature of the external world.

In nondual Self-awareness, the ego is not considered as ego, even though the ego is present, the body is not considered as a body even though the body is present, the world which confronts him is not considered as world even though the world is present, the duality ceases even though the duality is present, and because of awareness of the truth, everything is considered as consciousness. Thus, there is conscious oneness.

Sage Sankara’s wisdom reveals: ~ Atman (consciousness) is the only one ultimate reality or Brahman. Brahman is God in truth.

Advaita means the Soul, the Self, which is second to none. The Soul, which is present in the form of the Spirit or the consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God. Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is God in truth. Advaita is God. Advaita is the fullness of consciousness.

Sage Sankara says the transparent Truth of the Self, which is hidden by the illusion, is to be attained through the instructions of a knower of Brahman, (Gnani)

Sage Sankara says: ~ “The exercise in discrimination between real and unreal and renunciation of the false leads to truth realization.

Atman is Brahman. The Atman is the Self is non-dual because there is no second thing that exists other than the Atman.

Atman is present in the form of consciousness. Consciousness is the only true reality, and everything else, which appears as form, time, and space is merely an illusion.

There is nothing that exists prior to consciousness. The universe (‘I’) ceases to exist without consciousness. The Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness, is the ultimate truth or Brahman or God in truth.

Advaita is the nature of the Soul, which is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is second to none. Advaita is universal wisdom that reveals on its own to all the serious and sincere seekers of truth.

The real Advaitic wisdom of Sage Sankara is soulcentric knowledge. Self-knowledge or Brahma Gnana or Atma Gnana is soulcentric knowledge that destroys ignorance.

Until you discard all the accumulated knowledge you will never be able to realize the Advaitic truth, which is hidden by the form, time, and space.

The Advaita is the nature of the Soul, the Self shines on its own its awareness when wisdom dawns.

The Advaita is the Soul is the cause and the support of all that exists as the world in which we exist. Advaita is the nature of God in truth.

The Advaita is present in the form of consciousness. Advaita is the root element of the universe. From the Advaita, the universe comes into existence. In the Advaita, the universe resides. And into the Advaita, the universe is dissolved. The Advaita is the parent of all that is there. : ~ Santthosh Kumaar
